Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe summer is gone and the school year has already started. Hope everyone had a fun and safe summer and everyone is ready for a successful year! As many of you know the face of education is changing with each passing year. We now live in a world of accountability more than ever before. Our students must graduate with a diploma and an education that prepared them for higher education or the world of work. It is an exciting time for us because we are now getting more out of students than we ever have. We are seeing them learn more rigorous content with more demanding classes. We are seeing a time when instructional time is at a premium and we can’t allow that to be compromised. On another note, the beginning of a new school year always has the promise of a fresh start with the possibility of greatness. We don’t ever want to see another student leave these halls without having met his/her full potential. Our student athletes have already begun football, volleyball and cross country practice. We know that these students will represent our school and community with a competitive spirit that very few have. We will continue to excel both in and out of the classroom. We have a great school and we hope that each of you will get involved in one way or another. Go Pirates!
