TeamMates Mentoring Program

Doerr and Christiansen were one of six outstanding TeamMates matches cited for excellence in mentoring from the more than 4,000 mentor-mentee matches in over 100 communities in Nebraska and Iowa participating in the TeamMates program. TeamMates of Plainview were also cited for completing a strategic plan for their chapter. Also attending the meeting and presentation were Janyce Warneke, Plainview coordinator, Joyce Doerr, Rock and Susan Fehringer and Zach of Pierce, Mary Sheppard of Lincoln and Lee Warneke of Plainview. The TeamMates program matches an adult with a student who then spend an hour a week together in various activities.
